How to remove the front tire and wheel of my 2006 yamaha roadstar warrior?
I removed the shaft covers and see a 19mm allen hole on one side and a small round hole on the other side of the shaft. Both side are encased at the end of the forks. Does the shaft need to be removed or come apart? I do not want to remove the front forks
I’m not sure what you mean by “shaft” – I’ll take a guess that it’s the axle.
Remove both brake calipers from the forks.
After removing the shaft covers, loosen the remaining allen bolts.
Jack up the bike to get the front wheel off the ground.
The 19” allen hole is the axle.
The axle screws into the left fork tube.
Using an allen wrench/socket, unscrew the axle and pull it out.
